Special effects of ink and do not want

As the national clothing screen printers are keen on using new printing methods and effects, there are many printers using unique processing technology to produce special effect ink products. When more and more printers begin to use special ink, the effect of special effect printing is unexpected by ink manufacturers themselves. High density clear ink, metal ink, reflective ink and crystalline ink are mixed, proportioned and overprinted to produce new types. This is a typical innovative idea, often occurs in the ink workshop and printing workshop. After a month's experiment on the ink, we found some "to" and "don't". Through the following analysis, users can notice when unconventional ink can be used for unconventional production and when it can not be produced in this way. Don't use too many special effect inks at one time in printing. In most cases, the type of special effect ink applied on the same clothing product should not exceed o. To print images with more than two special effect inks, it means either sacrificing the image quality, or superimposing the second ink when the ink is not dry, or adding an auxiliary flash unit (i.e., a third flash unit) to the printing machine. This is actually more than the value of the third special effect ink, many problems, time and cost. The above two special effects are usually not expected to be used by customers. Metal ink or metal powder should be printed at the end of printing. Due to the self reflection characteristics of metal ink and metal powder, the ink curing is very slow. Only when it is completely dried can the luster have durability. Finally, printing them is done in a dryer instead of curing them in the printing process. However, there are also exceptions. When the design needs to use high-density ink, the printing order has to be adjusted. At this time, the metal ink can not be printed at last, so the metal ink must be completely solidified before printing with high-density ink. In any printing color sequence, high-density special effect ink should be placed at the end of the printing process. There are several reasons why it is worth taking seriously. First of all, if other inks are imprinted on the high-density ink, the overall thickness of the high-density ink layer will be affected; in addition, overprint means that the high-density ink should be flash dried; and, after the flash, the high-density ink layer forms a relatively uneven printing surface, which in turn affects the overprint performance of the post printing ink. To use a single white expansion ink to produce multi-color expansion effect, that is to say, do not attempt to print too many colors of the expanded ink, and try to use monochrome ink instead of multi-color ink.Although you can control the number of screen lines when printing multi-color expansion ink, it will make you lose the resolution and the overall height of the ink expansion effect. Printers have tried to print four, five or six colors with expanded ink, but the overall appearance of the pattern has been seriously affected because the colors have not dried properly. When printing with multi-color special effect ink, do not attempt to produce fine details. Because the details of fine products are very rich, it is almost impossible to use multi-color special effect ink for production. If you need more details in the expansion printing, you have to sacrifice the height of the expansion. For example, for metal ink, metal powder or reflective ink, excessive detail can prevent the large particles of special effect ink from passing through the template, which may lead to blocking. Do not use high-density or expanded ink to print large areas of images. When using expanded ink and high-density ink for printing, the total thickness of the ink layer is determined by the thickness of the screen and template. The center of large area image area is not supported by the template, resulting in slight gravure ink deposition, that is, the surrounding ink layer is thicker than the middle ink layer. This dimpling will prevent you from achieving the high density or expansion you need. Don't just use expensive inks just to use them. Although special effects inks such as reflective inks increase the value of your garments, their costs are higher than those of similar products on the market. In many cases, customers who need reflective ink flash effect are equally satisfied with the effect of using relatively cheap metal ink, which can save themselves a part of the cost. From a retail point of view, most consumers don't pay attention to the reflective ink hanging on the store shelves unless they're just looking at the clothing from a light emitting angle. On the other hand, the metal ink on clothing can attract consumers in a distant place. This is not to advise printers not to use reflective ink. Reflective ink still has its needs. For example, it is more appropriate to use artificial lighting effect in dark places. In other words, we should consider its value and applicability before production. A wide range of tests should be carried out before using new special effects ink to ensure the desired results. For example, gel printing is used to make bright gloss in lithography and to produce circular lenses in traditional printing. If you do not have a complete understanding of printing parameters and ink capacity, the final result is often worse than expected. In order to test the printing process of different special effect inks, the first step is to do experiments in the ink workshop. You can use the following methods to test the expansion effect of the ink: 1. Expand the silver powder ink and obtain the silver crystal ink by overprinting; 2. Add color pigment to the silver metal ink to obtain the colored metal ink; 2; 3. adding metal ink or metal powder into pure gel to obtain the effect of metal gel; 4. adding fluorescent material to gel ink to achieve the effect of fluorescent gel; 5., using transparent color to superimposition metal ink or metal powder to obtain the effect of metal or metal powder of different colors. Conclusion there are many kinds of special ink, but there are some limits. For example, metal ink can not be added to the expanded ink, because of its inherent opacity, it can not be added to another product, such as metal ink, the metal ink is suspended in the ink layer, and the effect of metal ink can not be seen. With the emergence of more and more screen printing, it is necessary to carry out ink experiments and test the usage of new ink. Your choice is limited to your printing ability. The more time you spend on the application and analysis of special effect ink, the more you know about the limits of the printing process and the ink used, the more flexible the production will be.
